The Columbus College of Art and Design 2010 Senior Fashion Show took place in downtown Columbus Ohio under the tent on Saturday May 8th. This year's show themed "Origins" inspired student Designer to places, experiences, research and encounters from around the world and brought that to the runway in a spectacular dazzling show that was reminiscing of what Fashion Week is all about. CCAD also honored former Alumni Edward Buchanan Designer at Sansovino 6 with the Fashion Icon Award for his outstanding contribution into the fashion world. So i guess the wait is finally over the Rodarte for Target collection has already hit some Target Stores in the Columbus Market. I can confirm this upon calling a number of stores around town and a few of them knew what i was talking about and some had no idea. The first location i called was the Sawmill road store and the operator had an idea of what the line was and confirmed to me it was already on the floor and people were already looking at it. The next store i called was the Hilliard Store and the operator had no idea what i was talking about, she probably thought Rodarte was a new kind of soap or something, the operator at the Polaris store asked Ro...who? and i said Rodarte and she asked is that the designer clothes and i said yes (maybe other clothes aren't by designers) and then she had an idea and said yes we have it on the store. So if you are curious before you venture out we have some looks for you and price points

Lavish eyes, champagne lips and a subtle yet lush glow are the key to kicking off the fall season in majestic style. DECADENCE is all about indulging the senses. Rich, opulent colors, sumptuous soft-touch textures and extravagantly designed accents such as a faux fur brush set and precious metal lipstick compact make for an intensely luscious take on true glamour.
Face Start by creating the perfect canvas using your favorite PRIMER and HIGH DEFINITION HEALTHY FX FOUNDATION in your corresponding shade. A hint: For an absolutely flawless finish, use FOUNDATION BRUSH 13. Finish with PHOTO OP UNDER EYE BRIGHTENER and CAMERA READY FULL COVERAGE CONCEALER where needed. For cheeks, sweep a generous amount DECADENCE BLUSH in ECSTASY, a deliciously warm and bronzy shade, up and along the entire cheekbone area.
Eyes Apply the deep pewter shade from EYE SHADOW TRIO in INDULGENCE from lashline to crease. Blend the champagne shade from EYE SHADOW TRIO in INDULGENCE across brow bone. Then add the medium slate shade from EYE SHADOW TRIO INDULGENCE across lower lashline. Draw JET SET WATERPROOF EYE LINER in LUST, (a dazzling new formula featuring flecks of gold and silver) along lashlines and slightly smudge it out using the DOUBLE-ENDED SMUDGER BRUSH 20. For added impact apply the champagne shade from EYE SHADOW TRIO in INDULGENCE to inner corner of eye. Pump up lashes with LAYER LASH PRIMER followed by a generous coat of THAT'S A WRAP MASCARA in BLACK.
Lips Drench lips with a generous dose of DECADENCE PHOTO FINISH LIP LUX in SOCIALITE. This super nourishing, high shine pinky sandwash lipstick works with any skin tone. Then add a hint of golden gloss (tucked beneath the genius flip-top on the opposite end of this precious metal compact). It's just like dipping your lips in champagne. For deeper, more dazzling lips, try DECADENCE LIP ENHANCING GLOSS in VIXEN, a vivid berry shade that's topping all of the must-have-for-Fall lists.

Victoria Beckham has reportedly turned down Paris Hilton's offer of friendship. The Spice Girl has just moved to Los Angeles with her soccer star husband David but isn't interested in the hotel heiress' party invitation. Paris is reported to have said about Victoria: "We could be soulmates." However, Victoria apparently told a friend: "Over my dead body!" Sources claim Victoria - who counts Tom Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes and Jennifer Lopez among her good friends - believes being associated with Paris could have negative consequences for her. Victoria - also known as Posh Spice - is keen to establish herself as a major Hollywood player and doesn't want Paris, who recently served time in jail, to interfere with that. Meanwhile, Victoria's American TV debut has been slated by critics. The reality show, 'Victoria Beckham: Coming To America', followed the singer as she prepared to move to Los Angeles after David signed with soccer team Los Angeles Galaxy. It was aired in the US at the weekend but it failed to win over many reviewers. Linda Stasi of the New York Post gave it "no stars" and labelled it "an orgy of self-indulgence", while The New York Times' Alessandra Stanley described her as a "rich idiotic It girl".

After Cole Haan my next stop was Saks fifth Avenue, was not expecting anything out of the extraordinary as the Saks here is pretty boring, but a particular coat caught my eye in the Marc by Marc Jacobs fall collection- The Wool Twill Coat carefully constructed in wool in a pale Khaki , the almost knee length coat is a must have for any woman with style this fall. At just over $600.00 dollars ($628.00 to be exact) with a three button snap front, side pockets and fully lined, this coat will stay with you forever.
While i was there i took time to pick up a couple of outfits for my 4 year old daughter a swimsuit by Biscotti and some Ralph Lauren tops and bottoms
I visited Cole Haan today and i must say i was very impressed by the new fall collection of mens shoes and accessories. The one particular pair that caught my eye was the Noah Oxford in dark brown.(its also available in black) Its a Sporty oxford in soft leather. Nike Technology soft breathable lining. Herringbone rubber sole. The shoe was comfortable and very light weight, for a minute i thought i wasn't wearing any shoes. At $155.00 a pair this shoe is a steal and will keep your feet comfortable throughtout the fall months. To locate a Cole Haan store near you please visit http://www.colehaan.com/
this is for all you fanz of the Beckhams, the greatest interview by the great Ali G (Sasha Baron Cohen a.k.a Borat) on Comic Relief in the UK cheers and have a laugh (or crack a smile)
Jessica Simpson added to her resume a collection of swimwear line launched at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Miami on Saturday. The actress/singer/reality Tv performer now turned Designer, looked pretty surprised at her own line as she watched the show from the front row seats. Though i doubt she had any hand in the pattern design, i give the girl credit for trying. The collection consisted of sexy bikinis and conservative one pieces suits. Sister Ashlee watched from the front row seat in celebrating big sister success in the swimwear fashion world.
Your inside guide to Fall Fashion from some of the biggest names in the fashion world as featured in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios- Los Angeles by Ed Kavishe Fashion photography Imajin Studios & Management. Collection Bebe Bebe Collection mixed opposites together-military inspired styling with lots of peace symbols, all of which were black and white (same as last season), army green, with a little camouflage print thrown in Black knee high boots and coats gave some of the looks an eastern european military feel. The mini-dresses were a big hit. The peace sign showed up printed on accesories and also in the form of black lines on a floor-lenght white dress that only looked like a peace sign when the model pulled the full skirt up on either side. Celebrities in hand included Supermodel and actress Rebecca Romjin, designer Tarina Tarantino and Heidi Klum
Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier Designer Christian Audigier showcased his Ed Hardy line with the circus inspiration for his "Love Kills Slowly" collection, and his signature line "Christian Audigier" The result was a candy-colored assortment of sweat pants, T-shirts, hoodies and leather jackets decked out with classic tattoo designs based on the flash artwork of veteran tattoo artist Don Ed Hardy. "This is for modern teenagers" Audigier said in his thick French Accent before the show." Its more a lifestyle that clothes: the colors, the tattoos, the street, the bling-bling. I love it" Lond cardigan sweaters for women were worn belted as mini dresses over checkered leggings, and a red mens sweater included fiery tattoo sleeves. Hip-length hoodies embroidered with daggers and eagles were shown alongside T-shirts emblazed with rhinestone skull and crossbones designs. Celebrities in attendance included Adult movie star Janine, Janice Dickenson, Dennis Rodman, John Saly, Kim Kardashian (also featured in the show)actor Vinny Jones(also featured in the show)Nick Canon,Eric Bennet and daughter India Bennet
Kevan Hall (please note its not a misspelling its Kevan and not Kevin) Kevan Hall looked ready for take off with the next flight, using an airport runway motif on the models runway. He said "This is a collection for the busy woman of the urban jetsetter with a busy lifestyle. If this woman goes on a trip, she needs to bring an anthracite wool jumpsuit with black double face reversible cashmere metropilitan coat or a onyx wool triangle cut out dress. He said they should also pack an emerald silk chiffon halter dress or a malachite diamond tulle corset gown with with a tulle skirt, though we doubt that would fit in a carry-on. Also prominent were lots of Chantilly-lace gowns with rhinestone sparkling details as well as short baby doll dresses and tunics made of silk. Kevan was greated to a standing ovation upon appearance at the end of the show, the first time ever in LA Fashion Week
Monarchy Collection by Eric Kim Eric Kim offered a study in contrasts which evoked an English Gentleman who moonlights as a fighter pilot. Even before the first model stepped on the runway strewn with soil and gold glitter, Dustin Hoffman, Jeremy Piven, Joana Kruppa and other guests got a hint of his dichotomy when a confession was read over the speakers describing Monarchy's goal to be more that a "prententious brand." For the most part, Kim was successful with his knackk of tailoring California-style. He layered a tan leather carcoat that appeared as if it had been dragged through the streets over a navy pinstripe vest, distressed straight-leg jeans for a vintage look, cut belted peacoats out of rugged canvas and knitted a brown cashmere sweater so that the argyle pattern showed only on the back. Kim also maintained Monarchy's signature raw edge by shredding some jeans, back flap pocketss and using an acid wash for a hoodie. The strongest pieces were the well-constructed leather jackets, one of which was adorned with studs along the back shoulder yoke." In today's mans closet, its very eclectic, " Kim said
True Religion showcased their first-ever swimwear line with an extensive range of vintage-inspired prints, bold hippie florals, intricate paisleys, crocheted patterns, ombré and beaded swimsuits in a bright, wide range of colors. Dennis Rodman caught up with Jeffrey Lubell, chairman and chief executive officer of Indigo Denim USA as they watched the debut from the front row.
Amir Slama presented his most surreal collection yet for Rosa Cha featuring DADA inspired swimwear embellished with spoons, geometric objects and other surprising "accessories".
Cia.Marítima, Brazil's largest producer of high-end beachwear, presented it's debut collection in the United States. This bombshell Brazilian label filled the runways of Miami with sexy styles "delivered" by DHL the world's leading global express delivery and logistics company.
