Brother and sister design duo Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman described their inspiration for this collection as sex, strength and skin but it could have had just as much to do with front row guest, WAG and social page staple Lara Bingle. Body-conscious, black dresses with zippers, gold cami’s and nude frocks with metallic glimpses all screamed the kind of vodka-fuelled sex that Bingle’s devoted followers dream about. Less lusty but more appealing were cool tanks, paired with slouchy denim shorts, relaxed silver knits and cool, simple strong-shouldered, thigh-skimming metallic dresses. It was a softer, more relaxed come on. While striped panelled dresses with knotted backs made our aphrodisiacs wear off slightly but, bold shouldered jackets that were part Balmain, part matador got the blood flowing again.
